About us
Born from research into the feedback loop.
Febaso started as study research: how do you make the feedback loop better? What we found, we are now building.
How it started
Research into the feedback loop
During our studies we researched how organisations collect feedback, use it and report back. It was the time everyone was discovering ChatGPT, and one thing stood out: AI could get much more out of that loop.
Scale or depth
If you want to reach many people, you choose a survey. If you want depth, you hold conversations, but only with a few people. AI made it possible to combine the two: a real conversation, with everyone at once.
Thousands of open answers
In a second study we spoke with large organisations. They had a different problem: thousands, sometimes tens of thousands of open answers, and no time to read them. So they mostly asked for scores and multiple choice, while it is people's own words that show what is going on.
Themes, and closing the loop
That's why Febaso groups open answers into themes: you see what is going on without reading everything. The rest followed from there. Seeing how a theme develops over time, and letting people know what happened to their answer.
Why now
We saw survey response rates falling. We believe that changes when feedback is personal again, and gives something back to whoever gives it.
What we are building
From all that research came the idea for Febaso. That is what we are building now: an AI interviewer that asks follow-up questions, themes you follow over time, and a loop you close.
Febaso in one sentence
Febaso is an AI interview platform that collects feedback through short conversations that ask follow-up questions, groups the answers into themes and helps close the feedback loop. Data stays in the EU.
What we care about
Three things we never let go of.
Every answer read
Even the ten-thousandth open answer counts, with the count and the verbatim words next to it.
Everyone hears what happened
Whoever said something and wants to know gets a message when something changes.
