# Ask your members. Show them what you did.

> Ask your members in a short AI conversation. Febaso reads every open answer, turns them into themes with quotes, and tells members what the board did about it.

A short AI conversation, not a long questionnaire. You see what's going on.

- Works alongside your member feedback study
- Reads every open answer
- Tells members what changes

## From one question to a decision.

1. **Say what you want to know.** In one sentence. Febaso writes the questions, with a follow-up where the why matters.
2. **Members answer in a conversation.** On their phone or computer, whenever it suits them. When an answer stays vague, Febaso asks a follow-up.
3. **The board decides, members hear it.** Febaso lays it all out. You choose what to do, and whoever raised it gets a message.

## A member feedback study, from start to finish.

Make an interview, take it as a member and see what happens to your answer. Two minutes, with made-up data.

### What one round yields (Example data)

Member feedback 2026 · Northwind Association. Northwind Association, Sanne and every answer here are made up for this demo.

| Theme | Raised by | In their words |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Events: always too far away | 74 members | "From where I live, a two-hour evening costs me a whole day." |
| Events: too often during the day | 29 members | "I can't leave my practice during the day." |
| Fee: unclear where it goes | 48 members | "I pay more every year, but I don't see what I get for it." |
| Member portal: logging in often fails | 33 members | "I've requested a new password three times." |
| Knowledge: journal and webinars | 61 members | "I watch the webinars back on the train. That's what I get the most out of." |

## Members stay quiet, until they leave.

| How it often goes | With Febaso |
| --- | --- |
| The member feedback study comes every few years, the results later. | A short conversation whenever there is something to decide. |
| Open answers pile up. | Every answer read, in themes with counts and quotes. |
| A satisfaction score without an explanation. | The why, in the member's own words. |
| Members never hear what happened to their opinion. | One message per theme to those who raised it. |
| You only hear why someone leaves when it's too late. | What members miss, while you can still act on it. |

## Three things you get alongside your member feedback study.

- **Themes with evidence.** Every open answer read and grouped, with counts and verbatim quotes. So you can show the board and the general meeting what members say, and every conclusion stays traceable.
- **The why, in a short conversation.** Febaso asks a follow-up when an answer stays vague, so you know what a member means, anonymously if you choose, and whenever it suits them.
- **Privacy-by-design from the Netherlands.** Processing in the EU, no training on your members' answers and your association stays the owner. A data processing agreement with every subprocessor.

## A tool for the conversation, not a replacement for it.

- **Not a questionnaire that decides everything.** What members say is an important signal. What you do with it you weigh with the board, committees and your own knowledge of the association.
- **Small groups stay recognisable.** In a small chapter or region an answer can be recognisable by its content. We look at that together when setting up: what you show per group and from which size.
- **Febaso organises, you decide.** The AI groups and summarises, and shows per theme how many members raised it and what they said verbatim.
- **We build reporting back together.** One message per theme to whoever raised it, without you knowing who they are, is where Febaso is heading. We work it out with the first associations.

## An addition, not a replacement.

You have your own mix: a member feedback study, the general meeting, committees and conversations over coffee. Febaso replaces none of it.

- **Alongside your standard member feedback study.** Keep your regular questionnaire for comparison across years. Febaso asks the why and adds to the open questions.
- **When there is something to decide.** A short conversation about a new congress, a fee change or a service, without setting up a whole study.
- **Through a link or QR code.** In the newsletter, on the member portal or at a meeting. Members install nothing.
- **Results for the general meeting.** Take the themes, counts and quotes into your presentation or report.

## Proof first, procurement later: small and scoped.

You don't have to pick a tool before you know what it delivers. A pilot measurement is a one-off, low-threshold trial with part of your members, with a report and a debrief.

1. **Pick one question.** Something that matters right now, or the questionnaire that was planned anyway.
2. **We set up the conversation.** Based on your question and your existing questionnaire. You review it and adjust.
3. **Members answer.** Through a link or QR code. You see the themes while it runs.
4. **Report and debrief.** You get a report with themes, counts and quotes and discuss it with us. Then you decide what to do with it.

Want to discuss it internally first? Ask for the one-pager: privacy, time, choice of target group and a business case.

## What each role gets from it.

- **Board.** Decisions based on what members really think, with their words for the general meeting.
- **Director and office.** Member research without weeks of work, and themes you follow over the years.
- **Member relations and communications.** Know what members think of your services, and what you can tell them back.
- **Committees and chapters.** The themes of their own members or region.
- **Members.** A short conversation whenever it suits them, and a message when something changes.
- **Privacy.** Processing in the EU, a data processing agreement, and nothing to install.

## Privacy and trust

- **Processing in the EU.** And never used to train AI models.
- **Anonymous when you choose.** You choose per interview whether answers are anonymous. Anonymous means you never see who said what.
- **Open about the AI.** Members know from the first message that they are talking to an AI.
- **Traceable.** Every theme shows the count and the verbatim quotes.

## Frequently asked questions

### Does Febaso replace our member research?

It doesn't have to. Febaso works alongside your existing questionnaire. Start with one question that matters right now, or with the questionnaire that was planned anyway.

### Is it anonymous for members?

When you choose anonymous, names never appear next to answers. Whoever wants to hear back leaves a contact detail that is stored apart from the answers. In a very small group an answer can be recognisable by its content; we look at that together when setting up.

### Is this GDPR compliant?

Answers are processed in the EU and never used to train AI models. You sign a data processing agreement with a list of every subprocessor, and in anonymous interviews names never appear next to answers.

### Can we look per chapter or region?

Yes. Ask about the chapter, the region or the type of membership in the conversation, and you see the themes per group.

### Will members want to have a conversation?

The conversation is short, about four minutes. Febaso only asks a follow-up when an answer stays vague, and you decide per question how often. Members answer whenever it suits them, by typing or speaking, in their own language.

### How do you tell members what happened without knowing who said what?

Whoever wants to stay informed leaves a contact detail that Febaso stores separately. When you add a decision to a theme, only the members who raised that theme get the message, in their own language. You never see who they are.

### Can we start small?

Yes. One question to part of your members is enough to see what it delivers. It is a web app, so there is nothing to install. In an intro we agree on a scoped pilot measurement.

## Start with one question, or meet us first.

In a thirty-minute intro we discuss what you want to ask your members, show Febaso live and agree on a scoped first round.
